The Trivalent Emerging Markets Small-Capitalization Equity strategy seeks to outperform the MSCI Emerging Markets Small Cap Index over an investment cycle by investing primarily in equity securities of smaller companies in emerging markets countries.

Philosophy & Process

The Trivalent team believes that superior risk-adjusted performance is achieved over time through both rigorous fundamental analysis and risk management. The team further believes that focusing its efforts on security selection is the key to achieving consistent results. The stock selection process is designed to produce a diversified portfolio that, relative to the S&P® Emerging Plus SmallCap Index and the MSCI Emerging Markets Small Cap Index, tends to have a below-average price-to-earnings ratio and an above-average earnings growth trend.
