Lance Humphrey, CFA, is head of portfolio management with the VictoryShares and Solutions team, where he oversees the team’s investment processes and capabilities across multi-asset, multi-manager, active quantitative equity and rules-based strategies, including those managed within the VictoryShares ETF suite. He also serves as a portfolio manager on Victory Capital’s active quantitative and rules-based portfolios. Additionally, Mr. Humphrey is responsible for managing the firm’s multi-asset platform, which includes the Victory Capital 529 Education Savings Plan.

Mr. Humphrey joined Victory Capital in July 2019 with Victory Capital’s acquisition of the USAA Asset Management Company, having originally joined USAA in August 2007. There he served as a senior portfolio manager for the Global Multi-Assets Team, where his work spanned asset allocation research, quantitative investment strategies, risk management and manager research.

Mr. Humphrey graduated from Texas State University with a BBA in Finance and the University of Texas San Antonio with an MBA in Finance. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of San Antonio.
