Julean Albidone is the quantitative research analyst on the Sophus Emerging Markets Team. Prior to joining Sophus Capital, Julean was the co-lead of the Applied Innovation practice at a leading global consulting firm, at which he led the development of various machine learning applications, including image recognition, anomaly detection and natural language processing. Prior to that, Julean was a management consultant in the capital markets industry for a leading global consulting firm.

Mr. Albidone has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and studied Financial Engineering and Portfolio Optimization in his master’s degree, both at the University of Toronto. He is a CFA Level II candidate.
